The MP0CAE3 is a surge suppressor diode for contactor coils. Designed to reduce the maximum overvoltage peak value and to limit or even completely eliminate the high pre-damping voltage frequencies for a rated control circuit voltage between 6 ... 240 V. The surge suppressor is simply plugged onto the front of all MC1, MC2 and MCR DC operated variants.
